Including of 4-grade wheat (from the auctioned 4169 tons) sold 403 tonnes of wheat class 5 810 tonnes (from the exposed 945 tons).

Average prices of purchases made:

• wheat of 4 class - 10400 rubles/t;
• wheat 5 class - 8800 rubles/t.

The first auction within the framework of the purchasing interventions on the grain market of the crop of 2016 was held in the Crimea on August 19.

In 2016, from 19 August to 22 September, over 6 trading days, the Crimean stock exchange in the state Fund were purchased 40,765 thousand tons of grain totaling 396,61 million.

As reported, this year Crimean agrarians harvested about 1.5 million tons of grain and can sell to the state Fund for agricultural year (July 2016-June 2017) to 100 thousand tons.

In the last marketing year (July 2015 - June 2016) procurement intervention in the Crimea also began on 19 August. They were held until 17 March 2016. According to the Crimean stock exchange, during this period, was purchased almost 66,8 thousand tons of wheat to 645 million roubles.

The mechanism of procurement (procurement by the state grain) and commodity (selling grain from the state intervention Fund) intervention operates in Russia since 2001. It is aimed at the stabilization of prices on the grain market and support agricultural producers. When prices fall, the government removes excess grain from the market in order to stop its depreciation, with a sharp rise in prices - is selling grain from the state Fund and thereby stops its rise in price.

Previously purchasing grain interventions were held at the National commodity exchange (NTB) twice. The first auction on NTBs held on Monday. Then the state bought agricultural producers of the Kurgan and Omsk regions of 11.34 tons of grain (from tendered to 14.04 thousand tons) for a total 113,083 thousand RUB So it was purchased more than 80% of the proposed grain.

The second time the government bought from farmers of 83.43 thousand tons for the total amount of 850,588 million rubles, reported NTB.
