As reported by S. Levine following the meeting of the mixed Russian-Israeli Commission on trade and economic cooperation, a partnership between the parties is enshrined in the road map. The document provides a clear plan of action in a number of areas, one of which includes the implementation of technologies of Israel in the dairy farming sector in Russia and the creation of high-tech clusters.

The Deputy Minister explained that the project will be interesting for both sides: Israel for the exchange of experience, Russia - for the accelerated development of the sector of dairy farming.

"We are heavily dependent on imports of these products, importing up to 7-8 million tons in terms of milk dairy products," — said Mr. Levin.

Activities under the "road map" provide for cooperation in the sphere of science, education and high technologies in agriculture.

It is expected that a mutually beneficial partnership will go on the issues of irrigation, drip irrigation, reclamation.

"We are interested in advanced technologies that are in the world, actively introduced in agriculture in Russia, and thus our agricultural production increased", — concluded the Deputy Minister.
