Russian farmers as at 30 September threshed 111,133 million tons of grain yield made up 26 centners per hectare, which is 7.4% above last year's level and 1.5% below the yield on 23 September, the report said the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation.

Russia's grain harvest may reach 150 million tons in 10-15 years

Grains and legumes threshed on an area of 42,672 million hectares (90,3% of the total harvesting area). In particular, collected 74,967 million tons of wheat with 26,754 million hectares, and 18,722 million tonnes of barley with 8,009 million hectares. On the same date in 2015 was threshed crop from 39,228 million hectares, collected 94,861 million tons of grain.

In the southern Federal district the grain threshed on the area of 7,684 million hectares, or 89,9% of the harvest area. In the district collected 29,984 million tons of grain with a yield of 39 tons per hectare. In particular, agrarians of the Crimea harvested 1,463 million tons of grain from 504,9 thousands of hectares (96.2% of total harvesting area), yields -29 quintals per hectare.

In the regions North Caucasus Federal district crops threshed on an area of 2,616 million hectares (83.5% of the total harvesting area), collected 10,753 million tons of grain, yield - 41.1 centners per hectare. The grain harvest in the Central district - 23,391 million tons of 6,861 million hectares (82,9%), yield of 34.1 tons per hectare.

In the Volga region collected a 24.57 million tons of 12,229 million hectares (93,3%), the yield is 20.1 tons per hectare. In Siberia threshed 9,452 million hectares (95%) collected 15,465 million tons of grain with a yield of 16.4 tonnes per hectare. In the northwestern Federal district the harvest was 813,5 thousand tons in the Ural - 5,648 million tons, the far East collected 509,3 thousand tons.

Russia's agriculture Ministry expects the grain harvest in Russia in 2016 will amount 113-116 million tons. The Ministry's forecast for grain exports in the 2016-2017 marketing year - to 40 million tons, including 30 million tons of wheat. In 2015, were collected to 104.8 million tons of grain in clean weight, exports amounted to 33,9 million tons, including 24.6 million tons of wheat.
