According to the Agency, Soyuzmoloko jointly with the analytical centre MilkNews cities made the TOP 20 regions with the largest production volume of cheeses and cheese products in the first six months of 2016.

"In the first half in the region have produced more than 42 thousand tons of cheese - on 2,1% more than in the first six months of last year. On the second place of a rating there is Voronezh (33,3 thousand tons), the third - Moscow oblast (23.5 thousand tons of cheese)", — stated in the message.

In the structure of production of cheese and cheese products by type the largest proportion of hard cheese (25%) and cheese products (23%), cheese (21%), processed cheese (16%) and other types of cheeses.

Altai cheeses repeatedly received high awards at prestigious competitions. For example, recently in Sochi in the framework of the International conference, Eurasian economic community on the production and processing of milk, OOO Tretyakov MSZ, part of the group of companies "Kiprino", received the Grand Prix for the cheese "Altai", as well as a diploma laureate of the contest for the cheese "Swiss" solid block.
