Krasnodar region and Switzerland will cooperate in the field of agriculture
The Governor of Krasnodar Krai Veniamin Kondratiev and Chairman of the state Council of Canton Ticino (Switzerland) Paolo Beltramini signed a Protocol on cooperation between the two regions on six promising areas, reported the press service of the administration of Kuban

The agreement was concluded in Bern in the presence of the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko. The document covers cooperation in agriculture, industry, economy, resort sphere, science, education and culture, the report said.

According to the Governor of Kuban, contained in the message, the signed Protocol is another step in strengthening mutual trust.


"Our regions are similar in many ways: by location - we are the most southern in their countries and on the structure of the economy. And in the first phase, the most promising for cooperation we see in the agribusiness and tourism. In particular, today we are actively seeking investors for the development of ski resorts and Spa treatment, and is ready to offer the Swiss business, the number of real, has developed projects in these areas", — the press service quoted the commentary by V. Kondratiev.


The Governor also stressed that the region is interested in the exchange of technologies and implementation of joint innovative projects.

Veniamin Kondratiev takes part in the Russian economic and financial forum in Switzerland. During the visit in Bern, the Russian delegation headed by Chairman of the Federation Council, the Governor of Kuban will hold a series of business talks and meetings.
