Economy of the Kurgan region has finished harvesting campaign of grains and leguminous crops, reported the Director of the Department of agriculture of the region Sergey Pugin at a meeting with the Governor on Monday.

"Selectiveserotonin Kurgan region has finished harvesting campaign of grains and leguminous crops, and for potatoes and vegetables. Grains and legumes were harvested 1 million 124 thousand hectares Gross yield in bunker weight – 1 million 974 thousand tons, 154 tons more than last year,"he said.

According to him, this year the 9 municipalities of the 24 exceeded 100 thousand tons of gross harvest of grain. The average yield in the Kurgan region was 17.6 quintals per hectare. the Best yield was demonstrated Shadrinskiy and Schuchanskiy areas – 25 tons per hectare.
