The main topic of the meeting was the situation with African swine fever – a particularly dangerous disease that is rapidly spreading in Eastern Europe.

The Russian Federation was represented at the meeting by the adviser to the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Russian Federation Nikita Lebedev and Deputy Director of the Rosselkhoznadzor subordinate fgbi "ARRIAH" Artem Metlin.

In their reports participants of the meeting highlighted the ASF situation prevailing in the countries. In particular, representatives of Moldova have expressed deep concern in connection with the entry of the disease into their country with Ukraine and lack of funds to implement fully anti-epizootic measures.

The Russian delegation presented the ASF situation in Russia, expressed concern over the lack of transparency in a number of countries, not the effectiveness in these countries antiepizootic measures and efficiency tools GF-TADs in the region.
