The yield of beets is 477 kg/ha (last year 372 kg/ha), gross yield of 5.5 million tonnes (last year 4,109 million tons).

In the Voronezh region sugar beet is harvested on the area of 115 thousand hectares, or 94% of the plan. The highest yield noted in the Khokholsky (791,2 quintals per hectare), Novousmanskiy (644), Petropavlovsk (585) regions.

In sugar factories the harvested 4 million tons of sugar beet processed by 3.2 million tons, of which produced 472 thousand tons of sugar. The balance of raw materials in suklaphanta is about 1 million tons.

As noted by the regional authorities, the number of products is enough to ensure food security in the region and beyond.
