According to him, only for the harvest of 2016 agricultural enterprises of the region sowed 45 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous, 1.67 thousand hectares of potatoes, 340 hectares of vegetables. Harvesting was completed on October 31.
"Vegetables harvested from an area of 344 hectares, the gross harvest amounted to 9.3 thousand tons (in 2015 – 6.9 thousand tons). The average yield was 296 kg/ha", – stated in the message.
Potatoes harvested from an area of 1.64 thousand hectares, gross yield was 31 thousand tons (in 2015 – 29,3 thousand tons), with an average yield of 191 kg/ha.
