The growth in the agro-industrial complex of the Moscow region is about 15%, it is necessary to further improve the impact of each hectare of land, said Andrey Vorobyov.

"Agriculture is a driver. It is very important that Moscow oblast has been able to debunk the myth that agriculture is not our (strong side – ed.). Today, the growth in the agricultural sector is about 15%. If we provide stability, then all the land in the Moscow region will work", — said Alexander Vorobyov.

He noted that it is very important to improve the impact of each hectare of land. On Thursday, Vladimir Putin delivered his traditional address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in St George hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. In his message, the President drew attention that the Russian regions should have more autonomy in determining priorities for use of Federal subsidies to support agriculture. In addition, according to him, the amount of subsidies to be linked to the increase in arable land, increasing yields and other quality indicators of production efficiency, thereby creating an incentive for entry into circulation of idle agricultural land and the introduction of advanced agricultural technologies.
