The project will operate within the framework of the program "Development of the Union state competitive livestock industry based on breeding, genetics and biotechnology innovation" for 2016-2020. This was reported in the Russian Ministry of agriculture.
The program will cover such industries as beef and dairy cattle, pigs and poultry. Its essence is to improve productivity of milk or meat yield due to changes paratypical (technical time caring for livestock) factors, which include the level of feeding, selection of food, climate, and other conditions of animals. For example, its main proposals were the selection of only vysokoperedelnyh (meat) and srednedushevyh (fattening) of cattle, as well as expanding the number of special systems of milking and feeding, including robotic. The relevant recommendations of the "Improving the productivity of dairy cows by optimization of paratypical factors" and "Ways to improve fertility by optimizing paratypical factors" will be included in the bill.
The authors of the concept became the all-Russian research Institute of breeding and a team of scientists of the Scientific-production center of the national Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus on animal husbandry. The Ministry noted that the new program should improve the competitiveness of the herd and its products on the world market and to facilitate the development of breeding in animal husbandry
