Opening the meeting, Ivan Lebedev noted that in 2017, the Ministry of agriculture will continue implementing activities in the framework of the Federal target program "Sustainable development of rural territories for 2014-2017 and for the period till 2020".

"For the implementation of the programme on sustainable development of rural territories in 2017 it is planned to allocate 15.4 billion, including the procurement activities of the Programme and main managers of budgetary funds: Ministry of agriculture – 6.8 billion rubles, the Ministry of culture – 0.3 billion rubles, the Federal road Agency – 8.3 billion rubles", — said the Deputy head of the Ministry of agriculture.

The mechanism of realization of the Federal target program "Sustainable development of rural territories for 2014-2017 and for the period till 2020" provides for the selection of regional programs of sustainable development of rural areas for subsidies from the Federal budget to regions on the basis determined by the Government of the Russian Federation criteria.

The meeting observed that the agriculture Ministry had prepared the necessary regulatory framework for the selection of regional programmes: the procedure for holding of selection, the composition of the working group and the Commission on the selection of programs.

The Director of the Department of rural development Mr Svezhenets noted that the regional agricultural administrative bodies to participate in the selection process adopted relevant regulatory legal acts necessary for the implementation of regional programmes. Bidding documentation for participation in the selection of regional programs of sustainable development of rural areas to provide in 2017 subsidies from the Federal budget to regional budgets in the framework of the Federal target program "Sustainable development of rural territories for 2014-2017 and for the period until 2020" was presented by 81 region.

At the end of the meeting it was decided to allow to participate in the selection of state regional programs aimed at sustainable development of rural areas, to provide in 2017 subsidies from the Federal budget and selected regional program for procurement: Ministry of agriculture – 80 regions, according to the Ministry of culture – 19 regions, Rosavtodor – 55 regions.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of culture of Russia, Federal road Agency, NGOs, and relevant departments of the Ministry of agriculture.
