Quarantine set from 5 January to 5 February in the Voronezh zoo, which is a hotbed of the disease.

As a threatened zone defined by the territory bounded by streets Dubrovin, Ostuzheva, Lenin, uritzky, Plekhanov, Donbass, Pirogov, Astronauts, Voroshilov red banner Yesenin, Ostrogozhsk, but not less than five kilometers from the borders of the affected areas.

To the surveillance zone, in accordance with the decree, referred the entire territory of Voronezh and a number of adjoining settlements – in 10-kilometer zone.

From 3 to 7 January in the Voronezh zoo has killed 35 birds. Experts have suggested that the cause of their death was bird flu that was later confirmed by laboratory tests.
