According to authorities, the volume of citrus exports amounted to $12.8 million (7.5 million in 2015), powdered milk – $13.2 million (3.6 million in 2015), oil – $21.1 million (30.3 million in 2015), cheese – $15.2 million (15.8 million in 2015).

"The supply of meat was less than in 2011-2012, when Russia accounted for almost 30% of the exports of Uruguayan beef. However, the Russian market is potentially very important for our country", — said Aguirre.

According to the Uruguayan Ministry, total exports of Uruguay in Russia in 2016 amounted to $97,8 million ($97,8 million in 2015), import from Russia – $42.3 million ($75 million in 2015). Russia, in particular, set in a South American Republic fertilizer $22,52 million ($48 million in 2015) and the mineral oils at $15.9 million ($17.8 million in 2015).
