In a live program "Voice of Russia" Yuri Mendelevich answered questions about the price and quality of bread. He told the audience that the development of bread-making it is necessary to create conditions of healthy competition.
In Russia today is the low level of competition among the enterprises of the bakery. We have bakeries in the country a total of about 12.5 million. This is not enough, first, to create competition, and secondly, to ensure availability of tasty and fresh bread for the population.
"To solve the problems of development of the bakery, you first need to create favorable conditions for doing business", — said Yuri Katsnelson.
He believes that you should start with the municipalities: if the administration will take the premises on a long lease bakers on favorable terms, it will be a lot of bakeries and bread will be available in Russia, as well as geographically. You need to create a network of bakeries selling products on-site. It will positively affect the development of the industry because everyone will have available fresh bread that he can buy near home, directly from the manufacturer. When these issues are addressed in all cities and towns of Russia, then the theme product quality will not be relevant.
During the meeting, President Rospik also drew attention to the fact that bakers do not use when baking grain, including forage, they create their products from flour. It is important to note that the feed is intended only for animal feed.
