In the Saratov region, Balakovo laboratory station for combating animal diseases on 16 February this year in samples of biological material, selected from dead pigs, revealed the genome of the virus of African swine.

The case occurred in a personal subsidiary plot in the village of Mordovskaya Karai Romanovsky district, reported in a press-service of management of veterinary science of the regional government.

The veterinary service has initiated activities under the rules eliminate the hotbeds of African swine fever, the Ministry noted.
