Tatarstan agricultural holding "agrosila" in 2017 plans to increase production of sugar to 157 thousand tons, said the General Director of JSC "agrosila" Svetlana Barsukova at a press conference in Kazan on Monday.

The materials for the press conference, said that 2016 on the part of the holding company JSC "Zainsky sugar factory" processed 1 million tons of beets produced 136 thousand tons of sugar. Thus, in 2017, the planned increase in sugar 15.4%.

In 2017 it is planned to increase processing up to 1.2 million tons of sugar beet per year. In the long term 2018-2019 she could rise to 1.5 million tons per year.
