The event is held at the initiative of the Russian Guild of bakers and confectioners (Rospik) with the support of the International Union of bakers and confectioners (UIBC).

The decision to conduct the Forum was made by the President of the UIBC Antonio arias and the Secretary General of UIBC and josé maría fernández Del Vallado during the UIBC Congress held on 15 October 2016. in Brazil in San Paulo.

We will remind, the First global forum on breadmaking was held in April 2007. Then in Moscow gathered bakers around the world. It was a global event, which was held in the State Kremlin Palace and brought together more than 5,000 participants from 60 countries of Europe and America, Asia and Africa, including about 4000 from Russia. And, 10 years later, organizers are preparing to host even more guests from around the world.

In the Forum program: seminars, conferences, round tables, business meetings, master classes, competitions bakers exhibition with the expositions of the companies-manufacturers and suppliers of bakery products, raw materials, ingredients, technological equipment for bakery and related industries.

Guests can also enjoy traditional competition of the bakers. XVII championship of Russia on bakery – bakers in prestige among the professional skills contest will be held in the framework of the Second world Forum on bread baking "Bread is a world" and will be a real decoration of the event. Here bakers in real time will demonstrate their professional skills in various categories. The best will be awarded. Participation in the competition is not only a chance to assert themselves in the professional community, but also a great opportunity for exchange of experience and communication with colleagues.
