Last fall, the Agency has taken the initiative to label sturgeon caviar produced by the legal way, with a special sign, so that, in particular, to reduce the amount of poaching. Later, the Agency has suspended work on the bill. Shestakov noted that the document requires consideration of the EEU.
 

"The need for sturgeon to enter (mark – ed). This is the most important task", — he said.

"Further on (mark – ed), of course, could be extended to those species that are most susceptible to poaching catch this salmon", he added.

From 12 August 2016 in the countries of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU) introduced mandatory labelling of fur and fur products special RFID tags. December 1, prohibits the sale of fur products which are not equipped with such labels. The Russian authorities have repeatedly talked about plans to introduce labelling on other products, such as clothing, medicines, wood.
