As reported IA "Kazakh-Zerno" in the regional Department of agriculture and food, the increase of milk production is observed in all categories of farms – both small farms and large enterprises.

"For the first two months of 2017 in farms of all categories produced 15.2 thousand tons of milk, which is higher than last year and 100,7%", – experts noted.

High performance is achieved by increasing the number of cows in milking herd. Last year, farmers brought in Primorye more than 260 head of young cattle.

Note that now the average productivity in Primorye – 5.5 tonnes of milk per cow per year. According to this indicator the region is the leader in the far East.

According to the Vice-Governor Denis Bochkarev, the state program for 2013-2020 years is provided almost 1.5 billion roubles to support agriculture from the regional budget.

"About 70% of the funds are used for technical modernization of agricultural production. We allocate funds to support existing farms and new. First of all it is dairy farming subsidies for milk production, maintenance of breeding cows for meat production and so on", – he explained.
