In area grain company, pig farms with a total population of more than 528 thousand animals, and a complex for breeding and fattening of young cattle dairy breeds and dairy farm.

Until the end of 2017, the agricultural holding will launch in the region two new pig-breeding grounds – the area of rearing and fattening in Pristenskiy area, reproduction area for 800 heads in the Oboyan area. Moreover, Yuzhnyy district will put into operation the irrigation system with an area of 428 ha.

Such projects include the creation of a vertically integrated pork production capacity of 412 thousand tons of products per year.
