The Russian government approved the list of types of water biological resources in certain areas of production in respect of which is granted rights to catch and allocated the quota for investment purposes.

"The list includes 16 items. It includes the types of aquatic biological resources Northern basin of the fisheries (cod, haddock and crab) and the far Eastern fishery basin (Pollock, Pacific herring, far Eastern flounders, lingcod, commander squid, Grenadier, cod, black, and Nephrolepis halibut, five species of crabs)," – said in the explanatory note to the document.

Against five species of crabs in both mining areas, this order shall come into force from 1 January 2018.

Investasi quotas for allocated legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, which belong by right of ownership or under lease built in Russian shipyards the court of the fishing fleet and built on the territory of the Russian Federation of the enterprises intended for production of fish products. While such quotas are allocated to certain types of aquatic biological resources, the list of which is approved by the government of Russia.

"Signed by order approved the list of types of water biological resources in certain areas of extraction (catch) aquatic biological resources in respect of which rights will be granted for the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources, and allocated the quota for investment purposes," – said in the document.
