From that date the Rosstandart accepts manufacturers ' applications for participation in the state projects. While it will work in 7 pilot regions, including Nizhny Novgorod, Kirov, Orenburg, Volgograd, Omsk, Sverdlovsk regions and Republic of Crimea. Other regions should join the project in 2018.

Manufacturers of successfully tested, put it in a special register. They are allowed to label their products with the National standardization system.

It is noted that participation in the project is voluntary, as Standards are now voluntary system: the manufacturer is obliged to comply with them only if it indicates on its products.
