It is reported by the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation with reference to the Director of the Department of land reclamation Valery Zhukov, who held the Republic conference on development of reclamation of agricultural land. According to him, these funds will allow to put into operation about 2 thousand hectares of reclaimed land. Currently in Crimea, more than 13 thousand hectares of irrigated land.

According to the report, this year the program for the development of land reclamation has joined Sebastopol. From the Federal budget on these purposes of 50.8 million roubles that will allow to meliorate 650 hectares of land.

In 2018, the input of reclaimed land in the Crimea will increase to 3 thousand hectares in Sevastopol to 0.7 thousand hectares. as a result, the crops in the country may grow three times.
