In the don region decreased production of livestock and poultry
In January-may 2017 in the don region, in farms of all categories produced 137,4 thousand tons of cattle and poultry in live weight for slaughter

As reported Rotostat is 1.3% less than in the corresponding period in 2016. Milk production amounted to 376 thousand tons, which is 0,6% less than in 2016. The production of eggs amounted to 941,8 million units is 3.8% more than last year.

We will remind that this year the regional budget has allocated 190 million rubles for the modernization of dairy equipment enterprises and imports dairy cattle.
