Due to rain currently in the region there is a threefold gap in terms of silage and hay compared with the previous year, announced Deputy Governor of the region Mikhail Glazkov.

"In all districts of the region together with the specialists of Roshydromet, create a special Commission to assess the state acreage. Based on the data collected, the decision on introduction of mode CHS in each area, and then in the whole of the Vologda region", — said Glazkov.

"The current weather conditions may not allow the Vologda farmers to produce enough silage and hay to provide cattle", — said Glazkov.
