Despite the expected in the current year, a reduction of the total gross harvest of grain in Russia (up to 100-105 million tons), the wheat harvest can match last year's level. This opinion during his working trip to the Yaroslavl region on July 25 was expressed by the head of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachev.

"To talk about a specific amount of premature, but we hope that the indicators will be on the same level as last year, plus or minus", — said the Minister.

Recall that in 2016 Russia had harvested 73.3 million tons of wheat in gross yield of grain of 120.7 million tons.
