Index of production of agriculture in the Tula region in January-June 2017 increased 140% over the same period last year, according to territorial body of Federal state statistics service of the Tula region (Cholestat).

During the reporting period, farms of all categories produced 59,2 thousand tons of meat, which is 63.1% higher than the same period in 2016.

The production of milk for the 6 months decreased by 7.6% to 84.1 thousand tons. Eggs produced 240,9 million, which is 62.1% higher than in January-June of 2016.
