The Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) announced the results of security checks bakery products, the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

"The results of studies over the past 5 years, the proportion not meeting the safety performance of bakery products decreased," – said in the message service.

Thus for the first half of 2017, the CPS has conducted examinations of about 40 thousand samples from more than 6 thousand organizations. Chemical composition proved to be unsuitable 0.1% products microbial — 2,5%, another 2.5% of the products did not meet physico-chemical requirements.

"The main reasons for the rejection of bread and bakery products were the unsatisfactory results of the organoleptic and microbiological studies, including the presence of "potato disease" of bread, high humidity, soggy crumb and so forth," said the CPS.
