On conformity of quality and safety of flax seed specialists of the Omsk branch of the fgbi "Center for grain quality assessment" with the issuance of international certificates

We will remind that the official opening of the OTD in the duty free zone of China was held on 4 July 2017. The Chinese delegation noted the importance of created in the Omsk Centre of logistics and foreign trade operations in the solution of organizational issues, including during meetings and negotiations.

According to the Minister of agriculture and food of the Omsk region Maxim Chegusova, the natural conditions of the Omsk region creates preconditions for the aging a good harvest of oilseeds and cereals, potatoes and vegetables. Production of flax the region occupies the first position among the regions of the Russian Federation. A promising direction of development of flax for 2017 is to improve the quality of the fibre of flax, the establishment of economic ties and contractual relationships between suppliers and consumers of flax raw materials. Production of basic food products in the Omsk region exceeds the volume of consumption that creates conditions for deliveries of their products not only in the regions of Russia and on foreign markets, including China.

From the beginning of 2017 with the participation of specialists of Omsk branch shipped 26 cars (1,88 thousand tons) flax seeds in China with the issuance of international certificates.

Note that the global market of processed products of oilseeds demonstrates stable growth. In this respect Omsk oblast is the most attractive for business development in the field of production and processing of oilseeds. This year, the growth of areas under crops of oilseeds 30 % – of 193.6 thousand hectares.

 

The bulk of exports of agricultural raw materials in the Omsk region in China in 2016 were: oil seeds and fruits; other seeds, fruits and grain; medicinal plants and plants for technical purposes; straw and fodder (15,4 %), fats and oils of animal and vegetable origin (14.2 percent).
