In Krasnodar, in the exhibition "YUGAGRO" was held the conference of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs "the State of agro industrial complex of Krasnodar region in modern conditions". It discussed the development of regional agriculture.

Participation in the event were the Vice-Governor Andrew Box, Chairman of the Krasnodar regional branch of the RUIE Viktor Budarin and representatives of authorities and business.

Andrew Box said that the priority in the agricultural sector of the region today, is a deep processing of agricultural products with the prospects of increasing non-oil exports.

"The current high yields — that's our export potential. But not only in raw terms. For export you need to come up with new products and refining the ones that are in demand on the world market. Therefore, the processing industry in the Kuban today comes to the fore" — said the Deputy head of the region.

According to him, it is necessary to introduce innovative forms of processing.

"It is now the first target in terms of state support of agriculture in 2018 — 7.4 billion rubles. But they definitely will be corrected towards increase", — quotes the Vice-Governor a press-service of administration of Krasnodar region.
