New cattle-breeding complex for the first time in 20 years opened on the West coast of Kamchatka. It will contain up to 400 head of cattle. About it on Tuesday has informed a press-service of the government of Kamchatskiy Krai.

"The new breeding complex for 400 head of dairy cattle for the first time in 20 years opened in Ust - Bolsheretsky district. In the village of Apache renovated barn, the launch of which will provide residents of the area by the milk of its own production. The project was implemented by the agricultural artel "Apachinskaya," - said the press service.

The company was given gospodderzhke, including the return part of the cost of acquiring the necessary machinery and equipment. Now the farm contains 85 head of dairy cattle, but in the future its number will be increased. Artel also soon plans to build a calf house and shop on processing of meat and dairy products.

"New livestock complex will reach full capacity by the end of 2018. It is planned that the plant will produce annually almost 1 million 300 thousand liters of milk, with a capacity of 3 thousand 200 liters per cow per year", - stated in the message.

According to the Ministry of agriculture of the Kamchatka territory, the territory of the region the volume of milk production in 2017, compared to 2016 rose by almost a third. Today, the security of the people of Paradise fresh dairy products is 38%. Increased the volume produced in the region of meat, in relation to the similar period in 2016, more than 50%.
