The Metropolitan police filed an administrative case against a trading network "Ashan" for illegal use of symbols of FIFA. About this TASS said a source in law enforcement bodies.

"In capital law enforcement bodies asked the representatives of the International football Federation. They stated that the store "Auchan" in Moscow sold stationery and children's games, the design contains symbols that are similar to the extent of confusion with trademarks, patented by FIFA," - said the Agency interlocutor.

According to him, during the validation of the information received the employees of the Moscow police together with representatives of the football Association on 5 December inspected retail and warehouse space in seven stores, "Auchan", located in the capital. "All was revealed and withdrawn from sale more than 1.5 thousand units of products, including products for children with signs of illegal use of foreign trademarks. In respect of the OOO "Auchan" instituted administrative proceedings under article 14.10 of the administrative code - "Illegal use of means of individualization of goods (works, services)", - concluded the source.
