Investment projects worth 757 million roubles it is planned to implement in the dairy industry of the Arkhangelsk region in 2018-19. About it reports a press-service of the regional administration.

"Four major investment project on construction of livestock farms dairy will be implemented in the Velsk and Ustyansky districts of the Arkhangelsk region. The total investment in the next two years will amount to 757 million rubles", - stated in the message.

JSC "Vazhskiy" build a new cattle-breeding complex on 640 milch cattle, the cost of the project is 262 million rubles. As a result, the production and sale of milk at the plant will increase to 16.4 thousand tons per year. OOO "Perma" plans to build a third stage of the livestock sector. Investment will amount to 45 million rubles, which will increase the number to 750 heads, while the volume of milk production will rise to 6.5 thousand tons per year.

In the village Shilovskaya Agrofirma "vel" within two years will be to implement the modernization of the system of forage. The project budget will amount to 300 million rubles. Milk production will increase to 16 thousand tons per year.

Ust "dairy company" plans to begin construction of the third livestock farm in 1584 dairy cows. The investment will amount to 150 million rubles. It is planned that milk production will increase to nearly 18 thousand tons per year.

The implementation of these projects will increase the self-sufficiency of the Arkhangelsk region milk and dairy products up to 65% and improve food security in the region.
