As of January 24, 2018, in the far East produced 213,9 thousand tons, 21% more than last year. The catch of Pollock amounted to 157.3 million tonnes (+41,6 thousand tons to the level of 2017). More than twice increased production of flounder up to 6.7 thousand tons.
Total catch in the Northern basin increased by 5.4 thousand tons, or by 32.9% and amounted to 21.8 thousand tons. Cod caught on 80% – to 14.7 thousand tons.
In the Western basin harvested 6 million tons, by 2.7 thousand tons, or 80.4% higher than in the same period of 2017. The volume of production of sprat has increased in 2 times – up to 3,9 thousand tons. The development of Baltic herring increased by 60% – more than 2 thousand tons.
The fishermen of the Azov-black sea basin exceeded the 2017 1.4%, having mastered 5.9 thousand tons of water biological resources. Successful fishing of anchovy in the amount of 5.8 thousand tons compensated nedolov sprat.
In the Volga-Caspian basin, the volume of extraction of water bioresources has made 0,034 tons – nearly 53% compared to last year.
In zones of foreign States, Russian fishermen produced 20.5 thousand tons, lower than last year 3 thousand tons
In conventional districts and open part of the oceans fished by 0.5 thousand tons less than – 0,5 thousand tons.
