During the meeting on the development of biotechnology, which was held on Tuesday in Novosibirsk, the Siberian representative of the production Association "Sibbiopharm" Ltd stated that the legislation on GMOs does not take into account all the nuances, and in its original form it can ruin the biotechnology industry in the country. He urged to stop using GMOs in an abusive purposes and strictly distinguish, including in public discourse, GMO food and GMO used for other purposes.
