The government of the Russian Federation in the coming months is going to define the quotas for the catch of aquatic bioresources for the next 15 years mainly on the historical principle. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich at the Fourth Congress of workers of a fishery complex of the Russian Federation.

"We plan, and in the next few months this will happen, identify the key production quotas of aquatic biological resources for the next 15 years. Mostly, primarily, on the historical principle," - said Deputy Prime Minister.

The Ministry of agriculture and Rosrybolovstvo have in the coming days to finalize the documents on the allocation of quotas, Dvorkovich said.

"You know about the discussions that are now taking place for individual types of aquatic biological resources. In crabs, for example. These discussions in the coming months must also be completed. I am convinced that those who provided significant investment who invested in related activities, should have the advantage in any case", - concluded the Deputy Prime Minister.
