The village of Rablà is located in the countryside of El-Kusiri in the province of HOMS on the Syrian-Lebanese border. Before the war it was famous for the cultivation of apricots, potatoes and almonds. Agricultural products produced here are exported abroad in large quantity.
However, near the beginning of the Syrian conflict, with the arrival in the area of militants "Dzhebhat an-Nusra"1 (banned in Russia) and factions of the armed opposition infrastructure was destroyed.
After the capture of El-Kusari and its environs Islamists 30 thousand Christians living in the area were forced to flee as the militants threatened them with death. The jihadists looted abandoned houses, destroyed them and burned.
In the spring and summer of 2013 for the El-Kusari fierce fighting occurred. From Syrian territory, and the attack led division of the CAA, and from the Lebanese militants attacked the fighters of Hizbollah.
