"Modern farm for 1200 cows was erected in a very short time, for two years. Such large farms in the region up to this point were not built. The full price of the farm amounted to almost 555 million rubles, and taking into account tribal animals - over 600 million rubles, including the funds were allocated from Federal and Republican budgets - 97,22 million and more than 251 million rubles, respectively," - said TASS in the Ministry.

The farm consists of two modern barns for 480 heads each, the maternity ward at 240 heads, milk unit, premises fitted with modern equipment.

As explained TASS in the Ministry, for the settlement of the farm have purchased pedigree cows from the Nizhny Novgorod region and Hungary. The animals responded well to the road, he settled in and are already starting to produce offspring.

By the end of this year it is planned to acquire 260 of young cows from the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Average yield of milk from some cows reaches 9.5 thousand liters of milk is more than double the average for the region, which is 4.4 thousand liters of milk per year. Such farm for 1200 cows may appear in the coming years in the village Letka, Priluzsky district of the district, the project is now considered, said the Ministry of agriculture of the region.
