In Moscow, in Technopolis of the same name developed software to control drones is by couriers. It will allow you to use flying drones in the delivery services, reported on the portal of the Moscow mayor.

Currently testing the program. Drones will be able to fly to work almost autonomously. Operators only pre-creates a route using a computer, tablet or smartphone, not Portabella.

The drone will be guided by satellite navigation and geotagging on the map of the route. This significantly increases the duration of its flight — up to 30 km on a single charge.

Head of the Department of science, industrial policy and entrepreneurship of Moscow Alexey Fursin believes that drones couriers can be used at the industrial enterprises, warehouses and shops for transportation of small cargoes and correspondence.

One drone-the courier is able to lift cargo weighing up to 3 kg.

At the moment the software is installed on two dozens of copters. They pass the test.

Note, drones are most often used not for cargo delivery, and for monitoring the location and create maps and 3D models of buildings.
