The authorities of Tatarstan intend to develop cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of agriculture, food and engineering. About it reports a press-service of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who on Saturday arrived in Bahrain on a working visit.
"Tatarstan is interested in new supply in Bahrain the production of machine-building enterprises of the Republic. (...) Tatarstan intend to offer Bahraini cooperation in the field of agriculture and food, as well as to establish contacts in science, education, culture, sports and tourism", - stated in the message.
The press service cites the example of cooperation in the sphere of machine-building complex between the parties: in 2008, through FSUE "Rosoboronexport" was delivered 70 cars and trucks for law enforcement agencies of the Kingdom.
According to the Volga customs Department, in the 2016-2017 year between Tatarstan and Bahrain was not foreign trade. By the end of 2015, the trade turnover between Tatarstan and the Kingdom of Bahrain amounted to $48.5 thousand.
