Profile committees of the Volgograd region will prepare a regional parliamentarians ' suggestions on the possibilities of using unmanned aircraft along with the existing features the satellite imagery and other information technology. During the meeting of the Duma Committee speakers noted that the scope of the use of drones is constantly expanding: they help monitor the land, aerial photographs of infrastructure and industrial facilities, registration and to monitor the status of forest and water management, road surfacing.

– Unmanned aircraft helps to solve a number of important socio-economic development tasks, – said the Chairman of profile Committee of the Duma Vladimir Yefimov. Combined with the existing features the satellite imagery and other information technologies, we will receive comprehensive information about the condition of the property complex of the Volgograd region. This information will allow government and business entities to respond effectively to the situation and promptly make right decisions.

Parliamentarians and representatives of profile committees of administration of the region drew attention to the experience of other regions and, in particular, the Belgorod region: the first in Russia experimental platform for implementation of technology "AERONET". The specialists of this IT-company is developing a technology so-called digital agriculture. It allows you to apply copters year-round to monitor the situation in the fields of inventory of agricultural lands and even allows their participation in agricultural operations.
