"We need (...) to do all that step by step, the regions have gained an increasingly important role in the implementation of agricultural policy. The strategy should be for the Ministry, the main approaches for the Federal government. However, the implementation of specific mechanisms, the choice of specific priorities in the direction of support is the task of the regions. I hope that we will work together in such a balanced system of our agriculture", - said A. Dvorkovich.

He noted that government's main goal for the coming years remains the maximum provision of domestic market with agricultural products. "These problems have been solved largely on such segments as poultry, certain types of crop production. Not solved in milk, vegetables and fruits. Priorities are clear," the Deputy Prime Minister.

However, he noted that to the fore more and more, the task facing the export support and promotion of Russian products to foreign markets.

"It's a hard process because we are not everywhere waiting. But somewhere, on condition of reciprocity, based on a more aggressive policy to enter the relevant markets, somewhere on the basis of understanding the interests of its partners we will be able to gain a significant niche in the global market", - he stressed.
