The establishment of agricultural hubs - areas with logistics Prime location and equipped with necessary facilities for storage and redistribution of products - will create high-tech jobs for young people and attract them to work in the industry. This opinion TASS on the sidelines of the forum "the North Caucasus: spatial development and human capital," stated head of the laboratory of the Russian Academy of national economy Svetlana Lipina.

"Agricultural hubs - these are some intersections between the subjects, some areas that do not already have the fat black soil, but some have base, cold storage, using digital technology to computer, remotely, possibly, will be used to link consumers and suppliers with each other. <...> And this is the niche for young people who know how can new technology be used," she said.

While Lipina explained that the cooperation with such hubs should be free for farmers to be their "extra financial burden".

In addition, the expert suggested that to start involving youth in the work with farmers is possible in the near future. "Maybe here, in the North Caucasus Institute-branch of Ranepa, you can create a unit of volunteers who could sign an agreement with the region, departments, and work with farmers on some grant or poleplacement basis, helping them to sell their products, in terms of technology to solve some questions and tasks", - said Lipina.
