Clarifies that a statement of the head of the region made at the meeting of the field Day in 2018, which took place on Tuesday at the Kuban state agrarian University. During the meeting they discussed issues of harvesting winter crops, as well as the rising cost of fuel.

Recently in Russia has sharply increased the prices of petroleum products. Thus, according to Rosstat, in April, producers have raised prices of gasoline by 13% in comparison with March (a year ago over the same period, the growth was 4.9%), and in may the average retail gasoline prices for two consecutive weeks exceeded the levels 41 and 42 rubles per liter.

As noted by Kondratiev, the region is ready for co-financing with the Federation to partially offset the costs for transfer of technology of agricultural producers to natural gas. "For its part, at the edges we are ready to design a mechanism to offset some of the costs for the translation machinery to alternative fuels," said the Governor. He instructed the Ministry of agriculture to prepare proposals that could be submitted for consideration deputies of legislative Assembly of the region. The head of region has offered to prepare an appeal to the government of the Russian Federation with a request to compensate a part of expenses on purchase of fuel and lubricants to farmers.

According to the regional authorities, only a third of the farms of the region purchased fuel and lubricants before the price increase. The Governor urged farmers to make greater use of alternative sources of fuel – transfer equipment to natural gas. He added that in the Pavlovsk district has opened a large mobile filling station complex, and if there is appropriate demand, the company "Gazprom" is ready to develop in this direction.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities of Stavropol territory in connection with the increase in fuel prices are already preparing an appeal to the government to return to farmers a portion of the cost of fuel and lubricants in anticipation of the harvest.
