Innovations in the distribution of quota shares of fish catch was related to the enterprises engaged in industrial and coastal fisheries. Fishing quotas for cod, haddock, halibut, perch, capelin, blue whiting, mackerel and herring assigned to all of the 18 fishery companies of Pomerania.

In connection with the changes in Federal legislation from 1 January 2019, the share of industrial and coastal fishery transformed into a single, stated in the press service with reference to the Ministry of agriculture and trade of the Arkhangelsk region. Since that time, the company will independently determine which kind of fishing lead — industrial, coastal, or both.
