Rosrybolovstvo issued an order on approval of lists of applicants, which are fixed shares of quotas of extraction of water bioresources in the far Eastern fishery basin in the next 15 years. According to a press release of the Russian Agency, thus, approved lists for all fishery pools.

It is noted that the next stage involves the conclusion of contracts between the Agency and the users of securing a share of the quotas for 2019-2034 years. From September 1, companies must submit applications for determination of types of fishing (coastal, industrial) for the next year, he reminded the office.

"The consolidation of quota shares for 15 years creates the conditions for stable operation of the industry and the possibility of making long-term investments. From 2019, according to the amended law on fisheries, establishes a common fishing space in which the user chooses which kind of fishing him to carry out. Coastal fishing involves a commitment to deliver catches to shore in live, fresh and chilled - in this case, the fisherman receives an additional 20% quota. The introduction of such a tool is aimed at the development of the coastal areas and the increase in the supply of fish to the domestic market", - stated in the message.

As previously reported, the Agency predicts exceeding the record of fish catch in 2018. The volume of fish catch in Russia in 2017 was a record for the last 20 years and will amount to 4.9 million tons, which is 1.6% higher than in 2016.
