A difficult situation on "Tractor plants" was formed a few years ago, production was halted, employees were not paid salary. In the framework of the program of financial recovery of the group approved by the Supervisory Board of VEB in December 2016, were allocated 5,75 billion. At the end of 2017 the decision on transition of the enterprises of the group under the control of the state Corporation "rostec".

"The General Director of open company "Promtraktor-Promlit" (Yuri Kostromicheva - approx. TASS) noticed that in the coming months, the plant has to reach break-even production brand. To date, the plant experiences a shortage of personnel. For stable operation and fulfillment of planned production volumes until the end of the year it is planned to employ about 800 people. To address this issue is working with the employment service of the Republic", - stated in the message on the basis of performance Kostromicheva at the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic.

According to the Director of the plant, the growth of demand in the automotive industry and rail transport allowed the company to increase production volumes in the first half of 2018, the company produced products for 800 million rubles, which is almost one and a half times more than six months 2017 "Plant for three years comes with orders, can work at full capacity. Capacities of the enterprise allow to produce up to 160 thousand tons of marketable products per year", - reports a press-service.

Previously, the newspaper "Kommersant" reported with reference to the minutes of the meeting, on 25 July the Deputy head of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov, "Promtractor-Promlit" resumed production of car casting. In 2018 it is planned to produce 27 thousand units of car casting in 2019 - 80 thousand units. Earlier, the Ministry of economic development, industry and trade of the Republic reported that "Promtractor-Promlit" to the end of the year will increase staff from 1.5 thousand to 2.5 thousand people.

The main products of LLC "Promtractor-Promlit" is a large and medium-size castings railway transport, iron and steel castings for automotive and tractor industry, according to the website of the company.
