Adygei cheese is loved by many. This delicacy with a fairly simple recipe until recently could be found in most stores in the country. Today, however, Adygei cheese due to a legal mishap is under threat of extinction. The fact that the Association of cheese producers of Adygea, patented a set of rules about making cheese (so-called APO), sent retailers a letter banning to take on the shelves of Adygei cheese produced outside of the Republic.
