Dedicated regional quota for red fish 4.6 thousand tons will be fully utilized in Chukotka. This was reported on Wednesday to journalists by the head of the regional Department of fisheries, food and processing industry Sergei Redkin.

"Today we distributed between rybohozjajstvennyj remaining 307,5 tons of reserve. We for the first time in many years, fully master the entire allotted quota. This year the total figure of catch red fish in Chukotka Putin will be 4.6 thousand tons," said Redkin.

According to him, the level of processing in the region has grown. If in previous years, Putin has worked mainly two companies, now there are six, that small region is important.

Compared with 2017 the size of the quota on red fish for Chukotka grew by 426 tons. The quota is distributed between industrial fishing, traditional fishing and sports-recreational fishing. A large part of the quota goes to two of the state enterprise "Chukotka wholesale trade" and "Cuatrimotos".

Salmon fishing season started in Chukotka on June 1. Given the lateness of the approach of the red fish in some areas it may take in September.
